Soins Chez Soi (SCS) is a company providing home medical care and services. Its aim is to provide accurate help to persons losing their autonomy so that these persons can stay as long as possible in their familial environment. The company proposes services of third persons like physiotherapists, chiropodist, dentist, hairdresser and also provides different services such as home help, nurses, home catering, transport, odd jobs… 

We developed an application for the personnel of SCS that manages the patient’s demand and the supplying of the adequate provider. 

In practice, the patient calls SCS, his call is registered in his file and is immediately treated by SCS who will find the appropriate provider (third person or SCS services) through the database.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The application developed by Pulsar permits:

  • to enter home care and services demands
  • to manage phone calls through the PC
  • to complete these demands with social inquiries
  • to establish programs enumerating the nature of medical care and services and the intervention’s rhythm
  • to manage and to follow the whole cycle

 

Through our application, the users:

 

  • focus their energy on the treatments of the patient’s demands and have less paperwork
  • use networking thanks to an electronic communication
  • include phone calls in the patient’s follow-up through the integration of a call center (CTI)
  • facilitate the billing process and produce statistics

 

Here is the scheme of the call center. The central is connected to a PC managing the incoming/outcoming calls directly into our application.

 

A SIM BOX has been installed in order to limit the costs when calling a mobile. This SIMBOX contains 2 SIM cards and allows the call from mobile to mobile. The central detects that the dialled number is a mobile and switch to the SIM BOX.

 

When somenone is calling, his number is displayed on the screen and the user has 2 choices:

  • he may click once and open the patient file without answering the call
  • he may click twice and answer the call. The patient file is automatically displayed on his screen.

Our application allows reporting on the phone calls, such as who answered to what and how long did it take, etc. A list of all incoming and outgoing calls is also available.

Here below, an example of a patient file. On this file, you find the name & surname of the patient, its address and phone number. Clicking on the phone number will automatically call the patient. You can handle this call on the left part of the screen. In this part of the screen, the user can "manage" his calls, namely: answer or refuse the call, hold it, transfer it or make a conference call (several persons). On the same screen, the operator can directly enter the demand of the patient.
